Emeritus Celebration 2004
The 2004 Emeritus celebration marked the first time that the event took place during the Michigan Engineering Alumni Weekend. The ceremony featured remarks from James O. Wilkes (MSE
ChE '56, PhD '63), Emeritus professor, Chemical Engineering, and the presentation of the Class of 1954E Legacy Gift -- the Class of 1954E Scholarship.
George L. Cotter, Jr. (BSE ME '54), the Emeritus Committee Chair, addressed the gathering. Class members received their Emeritus pins. Alumni from the Class of '44E were on-hand. And a number of Emeritus faculty were present to help celebrate the occasion.
