Wilson Students Team Projects Center
Until 1999, College of Engineering students working on special team projects were scattered throughout the campus, working in whatever space they could find. However, in that year the College unveiled the Walter E. Wilson Student Team Project Center, a facility that provides 10,000 square feet of space for design, assembly, machining,
electronics, composite lay-up and painting.
The Center, accessible to students around-the-clock, includes a conference room, a student lounge and a design room with 10 computers. More than 200 students involved in team projects use this state-of-the-art center, which provides tremendous opportunities for engineering students to work as teams and learn from each other.
