Cody Martin, an undergraduate in Aerospace Engineering, is this year's drum major of the Michigan Marching Band. MORE

Alum Wins Emmy
Howard Sachar (BSE EE '50) has received an Emmy for "historic contribution to television technology." He was part of a team that developed the varicap voltage variable capacitor, which is used in all TV and radio receiver tuners. It led to electronic tuning and the simple remote controls that have revolutionized TV receiver design.
