  • Researchers Discover Glass Has Two Temps
    Usually we think of materials as having one well-defined temperature. Recent Materials Science and Engineering simulations show that for understanding glass, a second temperature-like quantity becomes relevant. Professor Michael Falk says, "Glass remains among the most mysterious material we know about because of its disordered structure. By making a connection to the concept of temperature we can better understand, predict and control glass for use in technological applications."
