Use this link to let us know of your interest in transferring to the University of Michigan and to request application materials.
International Transfer Students
International students must meet the same requirements as external transfer students.
In addition, you must
- Establish your ability in the English language
- Prove that you have the financial resources to attend the University of Michigan
English proficiency:
All international students and applicants from Puerto Rico must prove proficiency in English at least at the minimal levels. Scores are valid for two (2) years.

Financial support:
International students must provide a completed form called the Financial Resources Statement, which is part of the application materials.
Deadlines :
Please keep in mind our application deadlines are as follows and it takes considerably longer to process International Student applications:
March 1st for any FALL term (September - December)
October 1st for any WINTER term (January - April)
