CoE Need- and Merit-Based Scholarships for Fall 2008 and Winter 2009

Description: The College of Engineering has nearly 200 scholarships that have been endowed over the years through the generosity of our alumni, private donors, and friends. These scholarships are available only to currently enrolled undergraduates in the College of Engineering. Students must reapply for these scholarships each year they wish to be considered. Although some of the scholarships are awarded based on financial need, most of them are based on a combination of need and merit, or merit alone. Merit is generally described as having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Application Process All of the scholarships in our College of Engineering endowments are part of the CoE need- and merit-based scholarship program and share a common application which you may submit electronically. Application deadlines are April 15, 2008 for the Spring/Summer 2008 terms, and June 1, 2008 for the Fall/Winter terms of the following academic year (i.e. June 1, 2008 for Fall/Winter 2008-09). Applications are reviewed by the College of Engineering Scholarship Committee and all applicants will be notified of the decision by mail.
