Government Relations

Government Relations in the College of Engineering focuses on expanding and diversifying funding sources for faculty research and other CoE priorities.

Government Relations will:

  • Monitor federal priorities, policies and agency budgets to assist in advance planning for CoE funding opportunities.
  • Work with faculty and staff to understand their priorities and funding needs.
  • Monitor communication to encourage applications for important funding opportunities.
  • Assist in the coordination of large scale proposals (e.g., edit, organize review sessions, etc.).
  • Organize and conduct presentations to faculty about responding to particular funding opportunities.
  • Organize, plan, and host visits with federal, state, and local government representatives either on campus or at a designated site.
