Foundation Relations in the College of Engineering works cooperatively with U-M Development staff to strengthen and expand foundation relationships leading to increased funding for faculty research and other CoE priorities.

Foundation Relations will:

• Work with private foundations to understand their goals.
• Work with faculty and staff to understand their priorities and funding needs.
• Match foundation goals with research and activities in need of funding.
• Assist with proposal development and submittal.
• Organize and conduct presentations to faculty about working with foundations and responding to particular funding opportunities.
• Organize, plan, and host visits to foundations and/or bring foundations to campus.
