Event Posting Policy
Policy on Event Advertising Through the Office of Graduate Education
While there are a plethora of events across campus that graduate students may attend, not all are appropriate for advertising through this office. Therefore, we have decided to implement this policy to guide our decisions as to which programs we will help to promote on our event calendar and in our publications (we will not advertise your events via mass email). Any student organization, graduate program, or student services office may submit a request to have their event information posted, but the event must satisfy the following guidelines:
1. It must be open to all graduate students across the CoE programs.
2. The content must be focused on academic and/or professional development.
3. Complete details must be included in the request: description, date, time, location, speaker, contact info, registration process, etc.
4. Requests should be submitted at least one month prior to the event.
If all these conditions are met, your request will be considered. We have the right to decline your request, however, we do not anticipate that we will need to execute this right often. If your submission is accepted, you will be notified once it is posted. Please send all event postings to ajrose@umich.edu.
