S. Jack Hu, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education
In addition to being Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education in the College, Jack is a professor in the Mechanical Engineering department, University Co-Director for the General Motors Collaborative Research Laboratory on Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing, and former director of InterPro.   Jack received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of Michigan in 1990 and 1986, respectively, and his B.S. from Tianjin University in 1983.  Jack has numerous published articles, and has received many awards for his work.  His research interests involve manufacturing systems, assembly and materials joining, quality and engineering statistics.

Mike Nazareth, Associate Director for Graduate Education
Mike received his BA from Boise State University in Mathematics Education in 1992. He has also completed graduate level course work from the University of Idaho in Educational Administration and School Counseling. His background entails teaching experience in secondary schools from 1992-1994, recruiting and admissions at the College of Southern Idaho from 1994-1998, and recruiting, admissions, student services, and retention at the University of Michigan from 1998 to present.  Mike currently directs graduate student recruitment and retention activities for the College of Engineering Office of Graduate Education.

Ben Landry, Coordinator of Graduate Education Programs

Ben earned his B.A. at Brown University and his M.A. at the Bread Loaf School of English (Middlebury College), both degrees in English. He taught in secondary schools in the United States, Colombia and China for several years. Moving to Ann Arbor with his wife, he worked as an Assistant Editor for Alumni Publications in the U-M Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. He was also an Intermittent Lecturer for the English Department. In his personal time, Ben is a working poet with publication in several literary magazines.

Andria Rose, Coordinator for Graduate Education Programs
Andria attended UM from 1991-1995, during which time she participated in the flag section of the Michigan Marching Band, and graduated with a BA in psychology. She remained close with UM by working at the North Campus Family Health Service as an office assistant and a certified breastfeeding educator, and at the Alumni Association as an assistant for the career services program and coordinator for the travel program. Since joining the College of Engineering in 2001, Andria's duties have included acting as the graduate student liaison, facilitating the Graduate Student Advisory Committee, event planning, and web maintenance. On the home front, Andria volunteers in her daughters' classrooms and leads a Junior Girl Scout troop.
