Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences
The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences invites applications for an open junior-level tenure-track position. Applicants should be able to contribute to our existing teaching and research programs in nuclear engineering, and to develop new research and teaching programs in several of the following technical areas: nuclear reactor physics, power reactor engineering, advanced reactor design, thermal-hydraulics, nuclear reactor safety, nuclear reactor control, fuel cycle analysis & optimization, and advanced fuel cycles. Applicants pursuing theoretical, experimental or analytical/computational work are encouraged to apply. Applicants will be considered for an assistant professor position, although more senior candidates will also be considered.
