The Department of Materials Science and Engineering as openings for both tenured and tenure-track faculty positions. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree, be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Materials Science and Engineering, and are expected to develop independent and cooperative research programs. A demonstrated research record or potential is required. The preferred areas of expertise include materials for energy conversion and storage as well as photonic and phononic materials, although outstanding candidates are welcomed in all areas.
