Classroom Assessment Techniques for GSIs
Description: Classroom assessment techniques (CATs) are simple ways to gather informationon what, how much, and how well students learn in a specific class session. Instructors can use the resultsof CATs to create a more effective learning environment. This session will introduce and model a set of CATs and provideparticipants with an opportunity to reflect on which methods will be the most effective in their courses.
