The Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs has primary responsibilities related to the faculty, including oversight of the hiring, promotion, and tenure processes; merit review and overall budget review and planning; space allocation and management; and responsibility for major College units including the Multicultural Engineering Programs Office (MEPO), the Office of Engineering Outreach and Engagement ([OE]2), and the Women in Engineering (WIE) Office. The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs chairs the College Diversity and Outreach council, and works in close cooperation with the Dean, the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education, and the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research to sustain and advance the academic mission of the College.
