10th Annual CoE Bowling Challenge

***Free Bowling, Shoe Rental, and Food***

Here's how it works:

• All 40 lanes have been reserved.
• You get two games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and pop for FREE!
• The sum of the five scores for each team will be considered the score for a game.
• The team with the highest single game score will receive the traveling trophy, which they may display in their department for one year.

Here’s how to register:

• Each team should have 5 players 
• Please send the following information to ajrose@umich.edu by 2/20/12:
• Department (everybody SHOULD be in the same department) 
• Name of each player 
• Email address for each player 
• Status of each player (grad student, faculty, staff, research fellow, etc.) 
• 1 topping choice for your team’s pizza 
• Team name

Here are the prize categories:

• 1st Place
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• Toilet Bowl (for lowest score)
• Best Costume
• Best Dressed
• Best Team Name
• Best Team Sign
• Best Team Spirit
• Most Charitable*

* This year's charity will benefit Food Gatherers.  You have the option of donating canned goods the night of the event, or you can go online and donate money at http://foodgatherers.org/?module=Page&sID=donate-funds.  If donating online, please inidicate in the comments box that this is for the CoE Bowling Challenge.  Here is a list of the food items they need most: http://foodgatherers.org/files/food_drive_donation_list.pdf.  The way this competition will work is that the team that brings the most food items or donates the most money (please bring proof of donation to the event) will be the winner.  In the case of a tie, the hosts will have a drawing of the top teams to determine the winner.
