Workshops Schedule and Registration

Summer 2013 Workshop Dates

The RCRS program includes 4 mandatory workshops. Each of the four required workshops is offered 4 times a semester, fall and winter, so you have a variety of dates and times to select from. These workshops are taught by Engineering professors. Please register for one of each of the workshops (A, B, C and D). The workshops may be taken in any order.

The College of Engineering RCRS program is required training for all Ph.D. students and postdoctoral research fellows. Any College of Engineering student on NSF and/or NIH grants or fellowship is also required to complete the training.

In addition, faculty advisors and students are requested to discuss case studies that highlight challenging scenarios relevant to engineers. (Mentor-Student discussions).

If you are not sure whether or not you have attended certain workshops, or if you would like a certificate of completion for the RCRS program (assuming you have taken all 4 of the workshops), please fill out this form.

If you cannot make it to a workshop that you have registered for, please fill out this form.

Note: If you are a NIH/NSF grant student, and the registration for a specific workshop is full, you are guaranteed an automatic override into the workshop. Simply show up to the workshop and inform an RCRS employee.
