Erik Yusko joined the University of Michigan in 2007, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Michael Mayer's Biomembrane Laboratory and is developing nanopore-based techniques for single molecule sensing. He is currently interested in applying this technique for characterizing the properties and activities of native proteins. Erik is also a fellow at the University's Office of Technology Transfer and the webmaster for the Biomembrane Laboratory.
