Presentation Details

Oral Presentations

PC laptops will be made available with both Microsoft Powerpoint and Adobe Reader. If you are making your presentation with a Mac, we suggest you make it into a .pdf and preview it on a PC to avoid any formatting problems. Please coordinate with your session chair if you need any further help.

You may bring your own analog or laser pointer. None will be provided.

All presentations will have a STRICT 15 minute deadline in order to maintain fairness to the presenters following you. It is recommended that your talk be 12-13 minutes, in order to leave a couple of minutes for questions from the audience and judges.

Poster Presentations

You must use the poster template from the downloads section.

If you are making a poster from a Mac, please make sure that the images are viewable from a PC. This means to insert images, you need to select from the menu "Insert", "Picture", "From File".

Posters will be mounted for you in the Duderstadt Center.

Poster presenters should be available to answer questions from judges. If a participant is not available at all, his/her poster will not be eligible for prizes.

After the Symposium, a presenter may collect his/her poster from the board, or we will collect them and they may pick them up later from the session chair.
