Directions & Parking

DIRECTIONS
Campus Information Centers are a good place to find directions and information for visiting Ann Arbor.  You may find the maps pertaining to parking on the CIC websites a little out-of-date so please refer to the links in the Parking section below for all parking information.

PARKING
If you are new to the Ann Arbor area then be sure to arrive early to ensure proper parking (60 minutes prior to first event).  Due to limited parking you may need to park in a lot (free or metered) within walking distance or a short shuttle ride.  The Engineering Graduate Symposium takes place on North Campus.  Campus parking maps will navigate you to the available visitors lots at the University of Michigan.  Your best bets for parking will be in the following locations:

North Campus (only those locations marked red on map)

  • NC8
  • NC10
  • NC26
  • NC27
  • NC43
  • NC44
  • NC45
  • NC63
  • NC51 (this orange lot requires a daily pass for $3.00 to be purchased from the Parking Office on Central Campus.  Their offices open at 7:30 AM)

Medical Campus (will require a shuttle/bus ride to North Campus)

  • M18
  • M66
  • M69
  • M86

Central and South Campuses (will require a shuttle/bus ride to North Campus)

  • N26
  • SC32
  • W18
  • V (Ann Arbor city visitor parking for a fee)
