At Michigan Engineering, students and faculty are encouraged to work across engineering disciplines and build competencies beyond engineering. The College supports these endeavors with numerous resources. 

Center for Entrepreneurship, which:

• helps students and faculty turn ideas and technologies into products, services and companies
• provides a co-curricular program for undergraduate students interested in becoming entrepreneurs

International Programs in Engineering Office, where students:

• find diverse opportunities to work, volunteer and study abroad
• can elect to formalize international experiences with an International Minor for Engineers

Multidisciplinary Design Minor, which:

• supports student participation in continued design, prototyping and systems testing in multidisciplinary teams
• provides opportunities for learning through service

Wilson Student Team Project Center, which provides:

• 10,000 sq. ft. of space for students to launch a dream
• comprehensive resources for design, assembly, machining, electronics, composite lay-up and painting of team projects
